What to LIMIT or AVOID altogether:

  • any processed foods
  • foods with added sugar
  • foods with too much sodium
  • cereal where sugar is the 1st or 2nd ingredient
  • juice, sodas, and diet sodas
  • flavored yogurt (flavor it yourself!)
  • artificial sweeteners
  • white carbs and other simple sugars


Waterhydration

  • Aim to drink your bodyweight divided by 2 in ounces of water each day.
